I'm very sorry to hear that you went through that, G. My best friend and his wife had an ectopic pregnancy about two years ago, as well. It wasn't the first miscarriage they had, so it wasn't as hard on them as the first. Though extremely common, miscarriages are very hard on couples. I'm so glad to hear that you and your wife are moving past it and ready to try again.
That best friend's first pregnancy was a miscarriage, but things improved. Early this year they had their FOURTH little girl. |

| G, my brother and his wife went through the same thing with their first pregnancy, but now they've got a 3-month-old daughter from their second try and couldn't be happier. I guess a lot of women don't talk about it, but as soon as it happened to my sister-in-law a lot of mothers she knew started telling her the same thing had happened to them, which made her feel better... with it being her first pregnancy she was worried, but hearing how common it was helped. |
Thanks, guys. Yeah, it's interesting how common this stuff really is, even though no one seems to talk about it.
But can you guys keep a secret? Keep it on the down-low (e.g. don't post it on my Facebook wall), but... We found out last week that she's pregnant again!
They're doing extra testing to make sure everything's OK hormone-wise, and we're having an early ultrasound on Friday to make sure it's not in the tube again. We're super excited.
I'll reply to the other stuff here soon. Just had to let you guys know. |

Awesome, G4! I'm sure everything will be great.
I'll keep you and your wife (and mini-G4) in my prayers. |

@G4. Congrats G4. Make sure little G4 becomes a Duke fan!
@PP. Congrats on finding the right woman PP. Me and you are both old farts and its tuff out there! LOL. I am dating a good baptist gal right now, but its early on in the dating game. We shall see. Houston you say? OMG. You think its humid/hot in Nashville? Your weather is similar to ours in central NC here I am sure. 98 degrees and 95% humidity too often. This part of the country just has so much forests and green which adds to the humidity. The summers are long also versus the North or Mid West. Shoot, last week it was 102 degrees in Raleigh NC, and hovered around a 100 all week. Of course the heat index was 110 to 115 with all the humidity. Its like wading through a swimming pool sometimes to walk to your car! Mid to low 90's is more the norm though with high humidity. However, however, however. I have been to Houston, and work with people from Houston. The people I work with from the area said that when they got the job offer in North Carolina at Polo, they could not wait for the door to slam shut forever on Houston. LOL. THe Gulf is only about 50 miles south of Houston and its well, HOT AND HUMID. If anything competes with it in the US, its New Orleans, or South Florida which is sub tropical. What helps make houston so bad is all the asphalt and concrete. I mean its the 4th largest city in the US, though about to over take Chicago as 3rd if it hasn't already. So you get all the reflective heat from all that asphalt, and concrete. Your gonna love sitting in traffic there. Holy cow!. ROFL. Hey, its a city. A big one. You will adjust. Whats important will be that one your with. It wont matter where you are, as long as its with the one you love most. So I gave you something too look forward to. ROFL. Congrats PP. Realy happy for ya. Its great news, and gives me hope. If a gay ass SOB like you can get hitched to a woman, then I have hope! _________________ Astro quote " "Doker knows how to play the game."

Or pick up your phone once in a while!
You guys need to have the wedding in Houston so ZeKe and I can drive over and crash it
Congratulations G4. I hope for your sake you have a boy on the first one. If it you have a little girl you are going to be so wrapped around her finger you'll be worthless for a good 5 years, until you can start coaching her. I just bought my daughter her first mountain bike. For now she has a sweeter rig than I do.
I unfortunately am going through a divorce at the moment. I say unfortunate, but it's moreso for her than for me I have my first hearing on the 29th, should be exciting, wish me luck! _________________
